Scan Sizes
Extra Large scan:
Premium and Basic Scans
Premium scans are color corrected in the scanner when the scan is made and corrected further in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Premium scans are a finished product that you should be able to deliver straight to your client without any further enhancements or time spent by the photographer. Premium scans are great for the busy photographer who would rather spend their time shooting than behind a computer editing scans.
Basic scans are made with all corrections for density and color made at the scanner itself and are not further corrected in Lightroom or Photoshop. This is a cheaper alternative to the Premium scan and allows the photographer greater control to apply their own aesthetic and style to their work. Basic scan are however great scans, and may not need any further correction.
We Scan Old Photos, VHS, VHS=C, Hi-8, Betamax, audio cassettes and 8MM and SUPER 8 Old Movies and Make Them Into Digital Files
Shipping of Negatives & Drives
All negatives and drives are shipped via priority mail, flat rate. If you wish for your negatives to be held for up to 2 months while your orders accumulate, we can do that too, and we will put as many orders as necessary into each box to save on shipping. Negatives left for more than 2 months will be discarded.
Develop-only orders will cost the same for each roll, plus an additional flat rate $5.00 to get them back to you.
Copy & Preservation Services
Want to preserve old photos that you have stashed in that shoe box or plastic bin? Send us your collection of photos or drop them off, and we will scan them at 600 dpi or 1200 dpi. That means you will gain the ability to print out the photos later at twice or four times the size of your original print at the same quality as the original photo.
We can save them to a thumb drive or deliver them via email. We can also set up a Dropbox or Google Drive account for you and upload the pictures to the cloud. That way you can share the photos via email or social media for all your friends and family to enjoy and even print themselves.
